Hello out there! Well, I’m a retired Phoenix firefighter. I served as an engineer (driver)/paramedic with the Phoenix Fire Department for 32 years. I was also a member of the technical rescue team. (so many mountain rescues!) I retired in 2017. I’ve been a photographer since 2020. When the pandemic hit, and everyone was social distancing, I decided to make the most of my time and started taking photos. I have taken many photos from both my iPhone and my Nikon D850 ever since, and absolutely love it! Taking photographs of people in their element is my favorite subject presently, but I also have a passion for my beautiful desert surroundings. The Arizona 4 deserts - particularly the Sonoran Desert, are my muse as of late. I’m married, have two adult daughters, and 3 dogs (so far…) I live in Gilbert, Arizona, - an east side suburb of the Phoenix-metro area.
